Recently I've been working on this album with beautiful fine lace.
This weekend I released the cover from my big book press and that was such an exciting moment!
I felt like a ceramist who opens her oven. Did my plan work?
Using a special technique, I prevented the lace from printing itself inside the linen.
In real life the album is much more beautiful than I can show you on the pictures.
This album was a small test for a big(ger) wedding album,
a Goldfinche with lace that I'm about to make for photographer Yvette Moeskops. It was fun to work with Yvette, making sketches, doing some early tests and eventually achieve such very nice results. The lace is sewn on the vintage linen with very fine stitches.
The album contains my special acid-free paper with sand-colored translucent paper. It is laced with ivory colored vintage linen that I bought in England. The tag can be printed with the wedding date.
Now I'm eager to start working on the 30x40 cm Goldfinche.
This Sparrow can eventually serve as a very nice little side album, for example as a gift to the mutual parents of the wedding couple.
Recently I 've expanded my services with a photo pasting service "fotoplakservice" (exclusively for 1000en1 photo albums).
